Your responsibilities

• Leading the design, planning and execution of tests, controls, verifications, validations that are directly related to products, systems, or software production and/or delivery processes
• Executing and assisting specific quality control related training, promoting passion for quality, integrity in all the actions, and results orientation
• Ensuring relevant deployment of metrics and tools related to quality control in incoming, production, factory or software test labs, and final inspection quality, as applicable
• Organizing and allocating testing resources to meet customer delivery commitments and testing requirements effectively and efficiently
• Ensuring data is reported and interpreted according to the internal ABB specifications, customer norms, applicable national and/or global standards, always under a high level of integrity
• Consulting with engineering staff to develop test protocols as necessary to investigate the integrity of new products, or new functionality for existing products
• Ensuring that identified problems from Quality Control are understood and evaluated from a customer/stakeholder point of view and collaborating in the resolution of problems to completion, following robust root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Providing feedback and advises engineering / R&D on improvement opportunities in product and/or process design

Your background

• Bachelors of engineering
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in testing of High Voltage rotating machine
• Good knowledge in High Voltage Rotating machine (Motors / Generators) testing
• Skills in handling a team and SAP
• Highly motivated team-player with a collaborative, learning & solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
